Role OverviewThe Deputy Manager will play a pivotal role in supporting the Home Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the facility and the delivery of exceptional care standards. The successful candidate will split their time between supernumerary duties and hands-on nursing, maintaining a strong clinical presence while also managing and mentoring the care team. Key Responsibilities Leading and supporting the clinical team to deliver high-quality, person-centred care. Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and organisational standards. Assisting with staff development, including mentoring and training. Overseeing care plans to ensure they meet individual needs. Providing leadership and support in the absence of the Home Manager.Candidate Requirements Current NMC registration as a Registered General Nurse (RGN). Proven leadership experience within a care setting. Strong clinical skills and a passion for delivering high standards of care.
