As the HS&E Manager youllcollaborate closely with the Ops Director ensuring that ADSLactivities align with our Management System and statutoryrequirements.
In this role youllshape our safety culture by providing professional advice guidanceand assistance to managers and operational staff. Your expertisewill be instrumental in ensuring that risk assessments are thoroughand effective and you will oversee risk assessments across alldepartments maintaining an uptodate register of competent riskassessors. In addition to this youll play a key role in identifyingand mitigating risks associated with various activities on thegarrison and youll ensure that robust emergency plans andarrangements are in place and regularlytested.
Your attention to detail will contributeto the safety and wellbeing of all personnel on the garrison andyou will foster strong relationships with HS&Eprofessionals across the business and partner organisations. Youllalso dive into the world of asbestos management as you implementand review our Asbestos policy on the garrison your knowledge ofasbestosrelated regulations and procedures will beinvaluable.

To succeed in this roleyou must have NEBOSH or equivalent HSE qualification.
In this role you will draw upon your provenprofessional experience in occupational HS&E managementpreferably within the service/facilities sector. Youll collaboratewith operational staff to implement initiatives that enhanceH&S performance and behaviours. Familiarity with businessmanagement system requirements is essential as youll work inaccordance with these standards. Additionally your proficiency inconducting occupational HS&E audits and evaluatingcompliance with business management systems will becritical.
Experience in managing both a directlyemployed workforce and subcontractors is also key as is workingknowledge of CDM Regulations 2015.
When it comesto skill sets a proactive nature with a natural disposition tomentor and teach is essential. You will be an effectivecommunicator and have strong interpersonal skills with the abilityto influence and guide managers and operational staff. Yourexcellent organisational skills and ability to work effectively ina demanding environment will excel you in your role as will yourability to meet challenging timescales and your commercialawareness skills.

Salary: upto 54200 depending on experience
