This is an important role, supporting the maintenance, development and improvement of our new sport facility in Burgess Park, which is highly valued and at the heart of our football and rugby communities.
Key priorities include: delivering the highest of customer standards to the community; ensuring that clubs and individuals are able to enjoy using the site safely; maintaining the premises so it is always functional and clean; and helping to keep Southwark at the forefront of London’s sport space provision. The role will require significant energy and enthusiasm; you will have the ambition to ensure that our sport services remain vibrant and outstanding.

We are looking for a dedicated and energetic individual to support the manager of our Burgess Park Sports Centre and to help us protect and shape our services for future generations. We want someone who has the drive to build on what’s good and to have the ambition to help to make it even better.
We are looking for someone who has operational knowledge of sports centres and practical experience of supporting service improvement in a customer-focused environment.
Key Information:
We have five roles including full time and part time permanent posts.
Roles all cover evening and weekend working.
A Disclosure & Barring Service Check is required and restrictions apply.
The post holder may be required to work in other operational areas to meet the needs of the service.
Must attend work in uniform and use appropriate PPE when on site undertaking certain roles.
