About the role
We are seeking to appoint a determined, ambitious, and inspiring teacher of English. This post would suit someone who cares passionately about raising the life chances of students from a range of backgrounds and who is looking to make a significant impact on the lives and education of those they teach. You will be expected to provide an excellent experience to learners through exemplary teaching and learning.
About the person
The successful candidate will have an excellent track record in teaching, learning and assessment, strong communication skills, adaptable and with a positive attitude to change. Candidates should also have the ability to foster working relationships with others and a willingness to help and support other staff and students is vital. Furthermore, the candidate will have excellent IT skills, specialist knowledge and experience of teaching/delivering to the Functional Skills and GCSE English standards and will ideally hold a Teaching Qualification.
