RC Frame Site Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated RC Frame Site Manager to work on a new build hospital project in Cardiff. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in managing RC frame projects, strong leadership capabilities, and a focus on delivering high-quality work on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee day-to-day operations of the RC frame project, ensuring all activities are aligned with the project plan, scope, and timelines.
* Manage and coordinate subcontractors, site engineers, and workforce to ensure smooth project execution, quality control, and safety compliance.
* Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with the company's health and safety policies and procedures, conducting regular safety checks and toolbox talks.
* Monitor the quality of construction to meet design specifications and building standards, performing site inspections and resolving any issues that arise.
* Develop detailed work programs and monitor progress against project milestones, reporting regularly to senior management on the project's status.
* Work with quantity surveyors and the project team to manage project costs, track variations, and ensure that projects are delivered within budget.
* Address and resolve any construction issues on-site, ensuring minimal disruption to the schedule.
* Maintain strong communication with clients, architects, and consultants to ensure a collaborative and transparent approach throughout the project lifecycle.
* Ensure proper documentation of work completed, including daily reports, site diaries, and any required project documentation.
Key Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Site Manager on RC Frame projects, ideally with medium to large-scale developments.
* Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete frame construction techniques, methods, and best practices.
* Relevant qualifications in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related fields (CIOB, SMSTS, or equivalent certifications are desirable).
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
* A comprehensive understanding of UK building regulations, health and safety protocols, and industry standards.
* Ability to interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications.
* Experience with cost management, programme management, and working to strict deadlines.
* Full UK driving license and the ability to work on-site in Cardiff.
