Maintenance Supervisor – Chemical or Water Treatment Industry Gloucester Days Role Up to £51,000 Bonus Benefits A growing company is seeking a highly motivated Maintenance Supervisor to join their team in a fast-paced and safety-conscious environment. This role offers the opportunity to lead a team of operators and be directly involved in improving the efficiency, safety, and reliability of plant operations. Key Responsibilities: Lead a team of operators to improve safety, plant reliability, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE). Support the Plant Manager in achieving operational goals and ensuring the plant meets Health, Safety, and Environmental standards. Supervise external contractors and site service providers to ensure quality and safety standards are met. Collaborate with the Production Planner to maintain raw material stock levels and ensure inventory management is aligned with production needs. Implement preventive and predictive maintenance practices to support continuous improvement in production and maintenance operations. Qualifications & Experience: Education: Level 3 Engineering qualification (preferably electrical/mechanical). Preferred: HNC or equivalent in Engineering, Technology, or Manufacturing Management. Experience: Proven leadership experience in production and maintenance, preferably in the Chemical or Water Treatment Industry. Health & Safety: NEBOSH or IOSH Managing Safely qualification (desirable). Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Strong understanding of health and safety regulations. Additional Requirements: Availability for out-of-hours emergency call-outs. Willingness to act as deputy for the Plant Manager when needed.
