Description Due to recent contract growth, exciting opportunities for an experienced Internal Auditor has been created on our contract, covering multiple sites across; Bridgwater, Bristol and Gloucester. This is a key role that will be central to the successful delivery of a contract where Wincanton are providing warehousing and transport services for equipment being delivered in for the construction of Hinkley Point. The role can be based at any of our sites; however regular travel is required. Successful candidate will be required to obtain and maintain security clearance prior to commencing employment, this includes being able to provide a minimum of 3 years consecutive UK employment/education & residential history. Liaising with the Compliance Manager on the planning and progress of the audits whilst ensuring adherence and compliance throughout Demonstrating of a safety-first mind set and active engagement with safety initiatives. Delivering high personal standards to achieve KPI’s in safety, quality, performance, and service. Identifying high risk areas and any potential issues where solutions provided by the firm can be offered. Providing updates on internal audit technical matters and provide technical input and knowledge into their projects as requested. What will you bring? Essential: Experience of working within a warehouse environment Essential: Full and clean driving license; use of own car Internal audit experience Excellent communication skills combined with logical problem-solving skills. Ability to make recommendations for improvement. Attention to detail and ability to work independently. Desired: Qualified internal auditor CIA Excellent research skills and ability to assimilate information quickly and accurately.
