We are sourcing Recruitment Administrator for our Education client based in Kingswood, Bristol. Reporting to the Recruitment Manager, the Recruitment Administrator will directly support several Education academies, providing both HR administrative support and professional advice for all recruitment and selection related HR activities. Location: Kingswood, Bristol Days of Work: Monday to Friday Hours of Work: 08.00 - 15.30 Hourly Rate: £14.48 Star Date: As soon as possible. What you will be doing You will use an electronic recruitment system (ERS) to undertake all recruitment administration, update applicant information, and correspond with applicants throughout the recruitment lifecycle. Process advertising requests in the ERS, edit job descriptions and person specifications, publish advertisements, obtain quotations, and make enquiries for appropriate advertising methods, and liaise with departmental contacts as required. Ensure employment contractual paperwork is produced accurately and in accordance with guidance and related approval. Check with an appropriate colleague to ensure contractual documentation is correct in advance of sending. Undertake all interview administration in liaison with the recruitment manager. Tasks include preparing shortlisting packs, requesting references, inviting candidates for interview, room bookings, hospitality, distributing panel papers, etc. Undertake all pre-employment checks for new starters in accordance with the Safer Recruitment, 'Keeping Children Safe in Education', Ofsted requirements, and HR regulations, policies, and procedures, Resolve basic recruitment related queries and escalate to the Recruitment Manager where necessary. Maintain computerised records and management information systems such as the recruitment tracker, redeployment register, etc. Produce lists, reports and data as required and undertake the HR Assistant role as required. What you will need to apply for this role An understanding of employment legislation in relation to recruitment and selection. Have good working knowledge of equal opportunities and an understanding of diversity in the workplace and application of this to all recruitment and selection activities. Good literacy and numeracy competency (including GCSE Maths and English at grade C or above), or equivalent qualifications. Possesses relevant NVQ level 3 in business and administration or equivalent qualification/ experience. Willing to undertake relevant qualifications and/or ensure ongoing professional development. Experience of working in an administrative role and undertaking a range of administrative tasks. Experience of maintaining and managing computerised and/or paper-based data and information and keeping accurate records. Advanced interpersonal skills with an ability to adapt to converse with a range of audiences in a professional manner, with an awareness of when to conduct certain discussions on behalf of senior colleagues, making certain decisions and sharing information for them. Excellent accuracy and attention to detail. Good planning and organisational skills. Excellent time management and prioritisation skills in order to manage a varied and busy workload to meet deadlines. Feel comfortable and confident liaising with individuals at all levels both within and outside of the organisation. Effective use of IT to support effective delivery of administrative processes. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, e-mail, presentation, keyboard skills and use of the internet.
