Family Support Co-ordinator

21 hrs / week, term-time only
We are looking for an experienced and supportive practitioner who can take a holistic approach to supporting disadvantaged students and their families, working 1:1 with young people and their parents / carers to identify support needs and barriers to learning, and address these creatively and flexibly.
In this role you will work collaboratively with students, families, colleagues from across Peterhouse School and its Flexible Education provision, as well as external stakeholders such as Social Workers, CAMHS professionals, and others.
You will be working primarily with the Peterhouse Flexible Education team, which supports young people who are unable to access school due to their significant mental health needs.
You will have a positive outlook, a sensitive and non-judgmental approach, and a willingness to reflect and develop. You will have experience of social work and Special Educational needs, with a strong understanding of autism.
In order to meet the needs of families, you will be expected to work flexibly including some work during evenings, weekends and school holidays.
Ability to drive and access to own vehicle with appropriate insurance are required.
