This stand alone role is central to managing financial operations within a constructin and manufacturing business. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the Finance Manager will take responsibility for day-to-day running of the finance function, team supervision, statutory compliance, and management reporting.
Key Skills and Experience:
* You will be either fully qualified (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or Qualified by Experience.
* Strong understanding of core accounting and financial processes
* In-depth knowledge of CIS and construction-related finance
* Experience preparing financial reports, budgets, and forecasts
* Advanced Excel skills for financial analysis and reporting

Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee daily financial operations and lead the finance function
* Prepare monthly management accounts and supporting reports
* Manage cash flow and debtor control processes
* Handle key financial queries from clients and contractors
* Contribute to the review of commercial contracts and agreements
* Support forecasting of secured work and income pipelines
* Monitor and report on project and business unit profitability
* Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
* Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial plans
* Support year-end processes and external audits
