About the Role
Attenborough Surgery are seeking a qualified and experienced clinical pharmacist to join our team of pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and other health care professionals. This role is offered on a full or part-time basis depending on the successful candidate's situation.
Main Responsibilities
* Providing primary support to general practice staff with regards to prescription and medication queries.
* Supporting the repeat prescription system (including EPS).
* Dealing with acute prescription requests, structured medication reviews, and medicines reconciliation on transfer of care.
* Supporting systems for safer prescribing and providing expertise in clinical medicines advice needs of patients in our single practice PCN.
About the Candidate
You will be a qualified pharmacist with strong experience within primary care and have the following skills and qualifications:
* Enrolled in, or have qualified from, an approved 18-month training pathway or equivalent, that equips the clinical pharmacist to practice and prescribe safely and effectively in a primary care setting (for example, the CPPE Clinical Pharmacist training pathways).
* Expertise in a chronic disease area, e.g., diabetes or asthma management, and could run chronic disease clinics (desirable).

Attenborough Surgery is a long-established, award-winning, forward-thinking GP practice. We have a practice list size of approximately 30,000 patients and are based over 4 surgery sites within a 15-minute drive of each other, serving the population of Bushey and Watford. We are less than a 5-minute drive from Junction 5 of the M1.
We are a single practice primary care network and a well-established training practice, respected for our collaborative working, training, teaching, and personal development within our team.
