Health and Safety Consultant - Hybrid - Lincoln
A leading Risk Management Consultancy is currently recruiting for an experienced and ambitious Health & Safety Consultant. The purpose of the role is to provide Health & Safety Consultancy within the following sectors subject to competency:
1. Automotive
2. Engineering & Manufacturing
3. Haulage & Distribution
4. Retail & Commercial
You will be responsible for covering Lincoln / Lincolnshire. Travelling to client sites is an integral part of this role and some overnight stays will be necessary.
Responsibilities will include:
1. Attend various client sites and conduct Health & Safety risk assessments and audits.
2. Providing bespoke Health and Safety documentation and management systems to our clients' customers.
3. Carry out and create specific client risk assessments.
4. Create Health & Safety Management reports.
5. Identify client requirements through surveying client premises and conducting safety audits.
6. Advise, guide and coach all personnel with the implementation of the Company Procedures.
7. Ensure needs and expectations are met in accordance with their contracted services.
8. Advise on all current occupational H&S and environmental legislation.
9. Audits and inspections of health & safety practices to be carried out across the business.
10. Client training as required to their service and use of their Health and Safety management system.
11. Experience of advising in a multi-site environment.
Knowledge, Experience and Qualifications Required:
1. Experience in a consultancy environment.
2. NEBOSH General Certificate and willing to work towards CertIOSH membership.
3. Good understanding of RIDDOR.
4. Engaging Health and Safety Professional with excellent people skills and a can-do approach.
5. Excellent communication skills.
6. Adaptable team member.
Overview:
1. Health and Safety Consultant - Risk Management Consultancy.
2. Regional travel in your area covering Lincolnshire.
3. £40,000 - £50,000 + car allowance + benefits package.
