Full Time Theatre/Outpatient Nurse Cambridge

Salary: £31,968 > £38,915 (based on 40 hr /w)

Requirements:
* Experience: At least 2 years post-qualification in scrub, surgical, or outpatient practice.
* Specialised Knowledge: Strong understanding of clinical reasoning, sound decision-making, and knowledge in surgical/plastics practice.
* Skills: Must be comfortable with ICT for storing medical notes, photography of patients, and communication via email.
Responsibilities:
Patient Care: From greeting patients and guiding them through the consultation process to post-treatment care and follow-up calls.
* Surgical Assistance: Assisting the Clinic Director during surgical procedures, including scrubbing in, preparing instruments, and maintaining sterile fields.
* Postoperative Care: Including dressing changes and follow-up appointments to monitor recovery.
* Stock Management: Ensuring all necessary supplies and surgical instruments are available, safe, and properly prepared.
* Administrative Support: Administrative duties as required with patient notes and regular patient audits, including supporting the Practice Manager.
* Safeguarding and Risk Management: Promoting patient safety, as well as the safety of employees and visitors.
Ideal Candidate
* Passion for surgery, patient care, and aesthetic improvements.
* Experience assisting in plastic or dermatology procedures, including working in an operating theatre.
* Sensitive approach, understanding that patients often seek treatments to enhance their self-esteem and appearance.
Additional Information:
* Work Schedule: Full-time, 5 days a week, with occasional weekend work scheduled in advance.
* Leave: 21 days annual leave, plus 8 Bank/Public Holidays (Christmas closure, 3 days’ leave required).
