Job Title: KS1 Teacher
Hours: 32.5 per week
Salary: £31,650 - £43,607 (MPS)
Contract: Full Time, Full Year, Permanent
Start Date: 1st September 2025
This is a rare opportunity to join the fantastic teaching team at Etchells. We wish to appoint an excellent teacher. We are looking for someone who:
1. is an outstanding Key Stage 1 teacher, dedicated to providing an inclusive, nurturing environment and is fully committed to the Etchells Core Values
2. is inspiring and innovative
3. has high expectations of all children and is skilled in approaching Teaching and Learning through a mixed ability approach
4. has a strong understanding of all phonic phases
5. works collaboratively to plan an exciting and enquiry based curriculum in KS1
6. demonstrates a good level of understanding of Metacognition and Growth Mindset and is keen to develop their own learning as a practitioner
7. can communicate effectively with parents, colleagues and governors
