About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated and confident Breakfast Chef to join our team at The Mandolay Hotel. In this role, exceeding guest expectations isn’t just a goal – it’s the standard.
As Breakfast Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality breakfast dishes efficiently and to the highest standard. This role requires early morning starts and the ability to work in a fast-paced hotel environment. You should have a keen eye for detail, ensuring every dish is beautifully presented while maintaining excellent food hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare breakfast buffet items to company standards
* Ensure the buffet is well-stocked and replenished as needed
* Maintain cleanliness and adhere to food hygiene regulations
* Manage stock levels, order supplies, and ensure proper stock rotation
* Assist with lunch and conference service when required
* Engage with guests in a warm, professional, and helpful manner, always striving to enhance their experience
