Key Responsibilities
* Develop and Manage QMS: The Quality Manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining the QMS in line with ISO9001 standards, ensuring it is aligned with business objectives and strategies.
* Lead Continuous Improvement: They will lead and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall quality.
* Training and Mentoring: The Quality Manager will train and mentor staff within the quality department to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
Requirements
* Experience: The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in quality assurance, preferably in a lean manufacturing environment or six sigma.
* Qualifications: A HNC qualification in engineering or equivalent work-based experience is required.
* Skills: Excellent communication skills, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work well under pressure are essential.
