Operations Manager / Administrator Agpe Centre, Belfast About Us The Belfast South Network Company is a private, non-profit organisation established in 2010. We primarily operate through the Agpe Centre, a community-focused facility that provides a range of support services aimed at fostering cross-community collaboration and addressing local needs. We are now looking for an Operations Manager / Administrator to join us on a permanent, full-time basis, working 37.5 hours per week. Part-time hours will also be considered. So, if you want to take on a varied and engaging role, read on and apply today The Role As an Operations Manager / Administrator, you will oversee the day-to-day running of the Agpe Centre, ensuring there is a full range of services available and Centre usage is maximised. Specifically, you will manage the entire booking process, from handling initial enquiries to finalising arrangements, ensuring all user needs are met. You will also handle invoicing, reconcile payments, and address debt collection efficiently. You will oversee the security of the Centre by managing access cards, keys, and alarm-related issues, while ensuring the Centre remains clean, welcoming and fully operational at all times. Additionally, you will: - Co-ordinate health & safety activities - Manage appropriate stock levels for essentials - Maintain schedules for maintenance and long-term tenant lease reviews - Deliver administrative services, including communication, data updates, and diary management Please note, this role will involve moving light tables and chairs and setting up meeting spaces. About You To be considered as an Operations Manager / Administrator, you will need: - Demonstrable experience relevant to the key responsibilities - A minimum of two years previous experience in an administrative role involving diary management and data input - Proficiency in Microsoft, i.e. Word, Publisher, Outlook & Excel - Excellent written and oral communication skills - Confidence in meeting and greeting groups and responding to queries - Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and handle conflicting priorities - A proactive, detail-oriented approach and the ability to work on your own initiative A working knowledge of updating websites or social media would be beneficial to your application, however this is by no means essential.
