The Headteacher and Governors of Oaklands Primary School are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant (Level 4) with a thorough understanding of working in a primary school and in particular the Foundation Phase.
The successful candidate will:
1. Have a thorough understanding of the Foundation Phase pedagogy.
2. Be an excellent classroom practitioner who inspires and leads children to meet their full potential.
3. Have the enthusiasm and ability to motivate, challenge and support others at all stages of their professional development.
4. Demonstrate excellent communication skills to work effectively with parents, staff and governors.
5. Have high expectations of achievement and commitment to raising standards.
6. Demonstrate an ability to work collaboratively as an effective team member.
