Job Opportunity: Site Manager – Refurbishment Projects
Location: Cornwall (with option for company vehicle or car allowance)
We are currently working with a highly successful regional contractor to recruit an experienced Site Manager for a large programme of refurbishment projects. This role will involve working across multiple sectors, including Heritage, MoD, and Commercial refurbishment projects, with values of up to £2m.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and coordinate all site staff and sub-contractors to ensure smooth project delivery.
* Conduct daily toolbox talks and ensure all site workers are fully briefed on safety protocols.
* Drive the delivery of the site, ensuring it runs to the programme and remains within budget.
* Uphold the highest standards of health and safety across all areas of the site.
* Oversee site operations from inception to completion, ensuring quality and client satisfaction at every stage.
* Ensure effective client liaison, especially when working in occupied environments.
Ideal Candidate:
* Proven experience as a Site Manager on refurbishment projects up to £2m, particularly within the MoD, Commercial, and Heritage sectors.
* Full understanding of managing projects from inception through to completion.
* Strong client liaison and communication skills.
* SMSTS, CSCS Card, and First Aid certification are essential.
* Willingness to undergo DBS/security clearance.
* Excellent IT skills to support project management and reporting.
