We are seeking a highly skilledand proactive Level 2 Field Engineer to support a dynamic clientenvironment based in Slough. The ideal candidate will assistendusers with technical issues monitor network systems and ensurethe smooth functioning of PCs and peripherals. The role requirestroubleshooting expertise the ability to work under pressure and akeen focus on delivering highquality customerservice.
KeyResponsibilities:
* Provideonsite and deskside support toendusers.
* Troubleshoot and resolvePC issues following guidance from Level 2 engineers or designatedpoints of contact.
* Ensure allincidents and requests are handled within the established SLAs in ahighpressure environment.
* Buildconfigure and troubleshoot hardware including installation ofcompanystandard images on PCs andlaptops.
* Maintain accurate anduptodate records of all ticketsdaily.
* Support meeting roomenvironments including video conferencingsetups.
* Provide technical supportfor peripherals like printers scanners and mobile devices (iPadsiPhones Android).
* Assist with databackup and restoration asneeded.
* Provide "smarthands" support for data center equipment replacingcomponents as directed.
* Conductroutine maintenance tasks such as daily tape changes for backupsand managing tapelibraries.

* Strong workingknowledge of Windows 7/10 and Microsoft Officeapplications.
* Familiarity with MACsupport is a plus.
* Experience withmobile devices including Android andiOS.
* Competency in troubleshootingbuilding and configuring both legacy and current PC/laptophardware.
* Familiarity with MicrosoftSCCM.
* Ability to replace defectivehardware components asidentified.
* Handson experience withdata center equipment including installation troubleshooting andcable management.
* Excellentcommunication skills inEnglish.
PreferredCertifications:
* CompTIAcertifications (e.g. ANetwork).
* Microsoft certifications(e.g. MCP MCITP MCSE) either completed or inprogress.
