We are seeking an an outstanding, enthusiastic and experienced primary academic support teacher, to join an expanding and forward thinking department. The successful candidate will be able to offer new ideas to further enhance the level of intervention for our students. The candidate should want to make a difference. The candidate will work closely with all departments ensuring that all individual student’s needs are met, to enable them to reach their full potential. Requirements - ideal candidates will have:
* an appropriate degree with PGCE or an equivalent teaching-qualification;
* specialist experience with assessment and a working knowledge and previous experience of a variety of learning issues including dyslexia, dyscalculia, the autistic spectrum etc Experience of writing IEPs.
* a minimum of 5 years working experience
* a minimum 2 years of specialist experience with neurodivergent students
* ICT capabilities
