Our clients range from grassroots clubs to world-famous institutions and global icons of sport including Eton College, Cambridge University, Coventry Rugby Football Club, Marylebone Cricket Club, and Everton Football Club.
Due to ongoing success, demand for our services is high, and our construction team is seeking self-employed, SSSTS-trained, Site Managers to assist with the day-to-day running of sites in locations across Southern England and the Midlands.
This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment, helping the company to deliver a variety of exciting sports construction projects.
Role Overview
As a Site Manager, you will play a crucial role in site activities. Your responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:
1. Ensure site set up is correct and as agreed on TM plan.
2. Be responsible for H&S onsite reporting to our H&S manager.
3. Record all training records for operatives and labourers.
4. Conduct site inductions.
5. Read drawings and highlight any issues.
6. Coordinate deliveries and call off supplies when required.
7. Report to Contract Supervisor on a daily basis.
Qualifications and Skills:
• SMSTS / SSSTS
• Telehandler Plant operator CPCS/NPORS (not essential)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (not essential)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Willingness to travel to multiple site locations.
• Knowledge of civils and sports pitch builds is a plus.
Working Hours:
This is a self-employed position working 40 hours per week. Transport and accommodation, if required, are provided.
