We are recruiting a Business Improvement Officer at Caerphilly County Borough Council. Working hours: 37 hours Contract Type: Fixed Term until 31 st March 2026 Location: Working hours can be split between home and office depending on specific task requirements. This is an exciting opportunity to join Team Caerphilly and provide support across the wider Business Improvement Team. We pay an attractive salary of £37,938 - £40,476 and offer access to training and development opportunities. We are looking for someone to work with us on a fixed term basis to carry out a variety of performance management activities. The role is to provide support to the other areas within the Council with their planning, managing their risks, performance reporting and helping services to identify and use their data for decision making. The role covers a diverse range of activities helping the Council to meet its legal obligations by ensuring the right performance arrangements are in place. This would be a good opportunity to gain expand your knowledge as the team works with all directorates from across the Council. For the role, we ask that you have: A relevant Level 4 qualification on the Credit and Qualifications Framework for Wales. An understanding of Performance Management within a Local Authority Experience of working within a performance management background.
