Material Control Operative/ Warehouse Assistant - Golborne
Are you a multi-skilled materials/warehouse operative? We have a permanent opportunity working 34 hours per week, Monday - Thursday 9am - 5pm with an earlier finish at 4pm on a Friday. You will be working within a team of 2 in a busy warehouse where you think on your feet. This will be a varied role where you will play a key part in ensuring the orders are picked, packed, labelled and shipped to various customers.
About the Role
Due to expansion, we are currently recruiting for a Material Control Operative/ Warehouse Assistant to support one of our key customers in Golborne. We are looking for an experienced candidate who can hit the ground running working in a fast-paced environment where you need to think on your feet.
Key Responsibilities
1. Picking and packing of orders
2. Updating database with stock inventory
3. Allocation of shipments
4. Inspect and verify receipt of materials received
5. Monitor and evaluate stock levels
6. Allocation of bin allocation and storage of materials and update systems accordingly
7. Labelling of materials
8. Processing of web orders
9. Provide E-commerce guidance on orders and stock/customers advice
10. Investigate materials shortfalls
11. Palletising freight, labelling and dispatch of goods through numerous booking portals
12. Management of the workflow generated through order releases for picking, packing and dispatch of parcels
