We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and motivated Team Leader to join our Passenger Transport team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in delivering essential transport services to the residents of Redbridge, helping to shape the future of community mobility in our borough. The Role
Team Leaders oversee the day-to-day operations of our Passenger Transport service, ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of high-quality services.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading, motivating, and managing a team of Driver/Attendants and support staff to deliver exceptional passenger transport services.
* Ensuring all operations comply with health and safety standards, safeguarding regulations, and service delivery targets.
* Coordinating schedules, vehicle allocations, and service routes to meet the needs of our residents.
* Supporting team development through coaching, training, and performance management.
* Handling operational challenges promptly and effectively to maintain service quality.

We are looking for a proactive and dynamic individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for making a difference in the community.
The ideal candidate will:
* Have experience in managing or supervising teams preferably, but not essentially, within passenger transport or a related field.
* Hold a full, valid manual driving license (essential).
* Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
* Have a strong understanding of health and safety principles and the ability to ensure compliance.
* Be organised, adaptable, and committed to delivering a first-class service.
