Site Agent – Station Upgrade West London
Salary: up to £57k + pkg

We are currently recruiting for a leading main contractor who operates within the Rail, Civil and Highways Sectors. Due to a recent project award, they are looking for a Site Agent to work on a new portfolio of Station Upgrades based in West London. Project valued at c£40m and due to last until 2020 / early 2021.
Candidate Profile
* Degree Qualified in Civil Engineering
* Progressed steadily from an Engineering background
* Previously worked on major station upgrade projects
* Chartered or Working towards Chartership
* Experience of managing a team of on-site staff (engineers, foreman, etc)
Roles & Responsibilities:
* Fulfilling the Agent’s responsibilities as laid down in the Company’s Health and Safety Policy.
* Ensuring that the contract is executed in accordance with the requirements of:
– All applicable legislation
– The Terms and Conditions of the Contract
– The Contract Health and Safety Plan
– The Work Package Plans and Task Briefing Sheets
– The Contract Quality / Environmental Plan
– The Policies and Procedures contained within the company Business Management System
* Delivery of the contract within programme and budget. Liaison with site staff and managing surveyor to ensure tender allowances are not exceeded.
* The promotion of a continuous improvement culture and the use of best practice.
* The continuous monitoring of contract progress to ensure contract objectives are being met.
* Ensuring that in conjunction with the site team changes to the contract are identified, agreed and effectively managed.
* The provision of formal reports on contract progress to the Project Manager.
* Ensuring that all relevant issues which cannot be resolved at contract level are passed for the attention of the Project Manager.
