Quality Engineer – Walsall Opportunity: Are you currently working as a quality engineer looking for your next role? Have you dealt with supplier quality assurance? Your role as a Quality Engineer based in Walsall will involve working with the production team to ensure that the parts delivered from suppliers meet the design specifications and quality requirements. You will help production in supplier quality assessments including creating and following up on SCARs. You will ensure that the Device History Record (DHR) is up to date for the products manufactured. You will play a key role in ensuring the document control, CAPA, and complaints process is followed effectively. Duties and responsibilities include: Gatekeeper for all incoming parts / components. Ensuring suppliers are meeting the quality standards as specified in supplier quality agreements. Ensuring Production Feedback Reports, NCRs, and CAPAs are created for product and process issues found in Production. Ensuring customer returns, document control, and complaint process is adhered to. NCR/CAPA – Root cause analysis, monitoring of open NCR/CAPA’s. Change control – Monitoring of open change control, raising new change control. Document control. Risk Management of medical devices. Supplier quality assurance development. Skills: To apply for the role of Quality Engineer you will have the following: Experience of working in a medical device industry as a quality engineer. Working knowledge of ISO 13485 and ISO 14971. Experience working with manufacturing / production in quality control. Knowledge in processes for transition from EU MDD to EU MDR is a plus but not mandatory.
