Purpose of the Role To define and oversee the development and management of the Indigo Networks - NOC & FLM portfolio of services and products. To define the product strategy, set the product vision, and ensure the successful execution of a product roadmap. Manage the various aspects of the product lifecycle, including market research, gathering customer insights, defining product requirements, collaborating with cross-functional teams (such as operations, commercial and legal), and prioritising feature/service development. Role and Responsibilities People and Safety As part of the Sales & Commercial leadership team – be a leader of people and drive product related outcomes through the wider Indigo community, creating a positive environment where the best people want to work, and everyone is given the opportunity to develop and thrive. Partner with our SHEQ team to ensure our products related to Networks - NOC and FLM continuously comply with and improve health and safety standards across the business. Partner with Operations ensuring the product portfolio has a supporting delivery solution. Strategy Define a clear product vision: setting a clear and inspiring vision for the product, outlining its purpose, target market, and unique value proposition. Define the revenue growth for the product portfolio at a global and regional level as part of the in year budget setting and long-term plan. Identify product risks and their impact on the group strategy. Understand competitive threats and partnership opportunities that will drive the product strategy for the region. Product Technical SME for the product portfolio, Networks - NOC & FLM and DCN (including SOC) Responsible for competitor analysis: monitoring the competitive landscape, identifying competitor offerings, strengths, and weaknesses. Define product differentiation strategies and ensure the product remains competitive in the market. Conduct client and target client research: Utilise existing data and insights from client deployments of our network portfolio – NOC, FLM & DCN service to shape the roadmap, conduct interviews with clients and prospective targets to gather deep insights into user needs, pain points, and preferences. Define product requirements including user experience, and technical specifications. Responsible for the Networks - NOC & FLM product roadmap. Ownership of the strategic roadmap that outlines the product’s future development, including feature releases, enhancements, and major milestones as well as commercial structure. Identify and define any 3rd party service elements required and manage within the portfolio as part of the end-to-end product eco system. Monitor key product metrics: establish and track key product metrics and analyse these metrics to assess the product’s performance, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions to improve business outcomes. Virtual product team management: manage a diverse team of commercial, engineers, architects, operations to deliver on the roadmap. Product launches: coordinate and oversee product launches, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful and impactful launches. Develop and manage launch strategies, coordinate marketing campaigns and monitor customer feedback to refine the product post-launch. Product innovation: explore new technologies and market trends to develop the portfolio. Identify opportunities for product innovation, drive experimentation, and champion continuous improvement to stay ahead of market demands and drive business growth. Product retirement: manage through the product lifecycle the version release from concept through to end of life and transition plan to new releases. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Design, Security, Sales, and Customer Support to ensure successful product delivery. Work with equipment manufacturer and technical design teams to define and improve the DCN offering to create industry leading product offering. Ensure all products comply with Security & Systems processes and procedures, and doesn’t impact ISO accreditation Create Managed Services roadmap and associated delivery model to incorporate regional growth based on customer knowledge and research Business Development Partner with sales, collaborating closely with service and commercial, providing product expertise, training, and support. Support the sales teams to ensure they have the necessary product knowledge to effectively sell the product. Ensure global and regional variants of product roadmap has all the required technical. specifications and documentation to support the sales lifecycle. Support Sales Directors and BDD’s on bids enabling the team converting the regional pipeline into revenue. Build relationships with key technical customers & prospects for Indigo. Build Indigo brand awareness in the regional markets through networking, events and relevant industry forums. Develop trusted partnership relationships with all customers. Develop positive relationships and having regular contact with key client stakeholders at senior level across the portfolio of projects/accounts. Establish and develop long-term customer commitment through maintaining strong customer satisfaction. Governance Attend regular CCO governance representing product. Be accountable for the regional representation of the Networks - NOC & FLM product portfolio within company, board ELT/SLT sessions. Provide timely product reporting and forecasting updates as required to effectively run the business. Partner with the Group Commercial team to ensure all bids, quotes and proposal are compliant and product approved. Partner with Operations to ensure our product delivers against the contracts that our sold into the region. Internal Relationships Partner with all the Indigo teams to bring the best of Indigo into the product portfolio. Use all resources and expertise within Indigo to continuously improve our global performance. Other Demonstrate flexibility to support all aspects of the Indigo business, taking on ad hoc tasks and projects as required KPI’s Delivery of the global & regional roadmap for Networks – NOC & FLM including DCN as a service. Revenue and GM associated with the product portfolio. Investment plan for the product portfolio. Customer CSAT. About You Very strong communicator and confident with highly technical teams. Extensive experience of the Telco and Hyperscaler market. Strong technical understanding of carrier networks, metro and Sub-Sea connectivity and infrastructure as well as associated operations Good understanding of DCN and network monitoring as well as SOC security methodologies and architecture. Strong understanding of managed networks and FLM portfolio of services and commercial structure. Good understanding of the competitive market – network managed service providers / FLM providers. Extensive product management experience in the networks/FLM or a very similar technical field Strong commercial and financial acumen. Proven track record of managing a complex portfolio of services and restructuring from bespoke managed services into standard product offering. Able to balance the strategic and the operational; thinking big picture but not afraid to get stuck into the detail when needed. Able to establish and maintain excellent working relationships with people at all levels. A strong understanding of the importance of health and safety procedures and proven leadership in this area.
