A Construction Supplier in the Omagh area has an opportunity for an Assistant Accountant / Accountant to join their team.
Salary: £35,000-£45,000 depending on levels of qualifications and experience.

We are seeking an Assistant Accountant to join the team in the Omagh area. This role will also oversee 2 other locations in England, reporting into the MD and liaising with the external Company Accountant.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee project budgets, forecasts, and maintain financial project reports.
* Analyse costs and develop cost-saving strategies.
* Manage accounts payable and receivable for each project, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing and payments.
* Analyse all project expenses and provide commentary.
* Manage project contracts to ensure financial terms are adhered to.
* Work closely with the admin team and Contracts Managers to develop processes and understand financial requirements.
* Ensure financial reporting across the business is accurate.
Experience:
* Proven experience in financial management within the project accounting field.
* Knowledge of using accounting software Xero is preferable.
* Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* Relevant qualification in finance or accounting.
