My client is a well-respected and successful law firm based in Chester that offers a range of legal services for both individuals and businesses.
Due to the growth of their Commercial Property team, they have a fantastic opportunity for a full-time legal assistant to join their friendly team.
This role will provide a high level of support to their Solicitors and other team members in the provision of an efficient, personal, and professional service at all times, ensuring that business objectives are achieved.
They are looking to recruit a candidate with experience as a paralegal or legal assistant in Conveyancing or Commercial Property. The right candidate will be able to deliver their responsibilities to a high standard and operate in a fast-paced team with the aim of becoming an integral and invaluable part of that team.
Responsibilities:
1. Client contact making and receiving calls, dealing efficiently with enquiries, communicating politely, effectively, and in line with our client care policy.
2. Correspondence preparing and managing all forms of correspondence, including letters and emails, along with inbound and outbound post, photocopying, and other administrative duties as required.
3. Assisting with transactions corresponding with third parties, completing delegated tasks, ordering property searches, downloading documents from the Land Registry, preparing completion statements and invoices.
4. Maintain high professional standards, confidence, confidentiality, and integrity.
Skills:
1. Strong analytical skills and great attention to detail.
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
3. An ability to work independently and as part of a team.
4. Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel, including Microsoft Teams.
5. Communicate effectively and courteously and convey information accurately.
6. Work calmly and accurately under pressure.
7. An ability to prioritise tasks.
8. Willingness and ability to learn new technology.
9. Self-managed, organised, and a high level of initiative.
10. Integrity to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
11. A Can Do and dynamic attitude.
Salary will be negotiable dependent on experience up to £26k.
