A highly successful and growing business based in Birmingham is looking for an Account/Relationship Manager to join the team.
This is a newly created role and would suit candidates who have excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
As Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing the company's subcontractor network, building strong relationships to enhance service quality and subcontractor satisfaction and retention while helping them deliver outstanding customer service.
Your key responsibilities as Account Manager will include:
1. Negotiating job offer terms with subcontractors and providing onboarding support;
2. Ensuring subcontractors are fully integrated with the use of systems and familiar with industry guidelines;
3. Monitoring subcontractor performance and reaching out to inactive subcontractors to explore opportunities for reengagement;
4. Proactively building relationships with subcontractors, gathering feedback, addressing challenges, and fostering long-term engagement and trust;
5. Listening to concerns and advocating for positive changes within the business to improve overall satisfaction and retention;
6. Planning and coordinating roadshows, including workshops, interactive sessions, and presentations.
The ideal candidate will have:
1. Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills;
2. Strong negotiation and organizational skills;
3. The ability to multitask and prioritize workload;
4. Proficiency in IT, including MS Office;
5. A valid driver’s license and your own car.
The salary on offer is GBP28,000 per annum plus a benefits package which includes hybrid working, 24 days holiday (increasing with service), bank holidays, and an additional day off for your birthday.
