About the Job ScottishPower’s Business Analysts play a key role in driving our roadmap of improvements to help deliver the best possible experience to our customers. As a Business Analyst, you work on a specific project critical to ScottishPower’s needs with opportunities to switch teams and projects. You will act as the bridge between the business stakeholders and the software developers, ensuring that requirements are clearly defined, understood, and successfully delivered. We need our business analysts to be bright, inquisitive, and passionate about building relationships and solving problems. Skills & Requirements Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or a similar technical field of study Excellent communication and the ability to explain complex problems Eager to learn and share knowledge across diverse teams. Positive thinking and creativity Preferred qualifications: Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or relevant technical field. Knowledge of requirement gathering and process mapping Experience of the full software delivery lifecycle including the use of Agile methodology Ability to analyse large volumes of complex data and derive solutions to problems (SQL) Excellent communication and the ability to manage senior stakeholders UK Energy Retail Industry Process experience Responsibilities Document existing business processes and workflows and translate business requirements into functional requirements for technical teams. Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, and testers to drive forward system and process improvements Provide robust and innovative solutions to meet the fast-moving needs of the business Manage multiple stakeholders and priorities What we Offer This is a permanent contract. Salary for this role will in the following range depending on experience: £37,142 - £46,428 per annum.
