SES are currently looking for a Divisional Director – Technology to join the SES Board. About The Role Reporting to the Executive SES Managing Director, the Divisional Director - Technology will lead the strategic and operational functions of the SES Technology division. This role requires a visionary leader with a strong track record in driving business growth, enhancing team performance, and optimising operational efficiency. The Divisional Director will collaborate with senior management to develop and implement strategies that align with the company’s overall goals while ensuring exceptional service delivery to clients. As a member of the SES National Board, they will work closely with cross-functional teams, including customer strategy, marketing, product development, and operations, to ensure customer strategies are fully integrated and aligned with business objectives. As the Divisional Director – SES Technology, some of the key responsibilities will include: Develop and execute the divisional business strategy, aligning with the company's vision to ensure sustainable growth and profitability. Oversee daily operations, manage financial performance, and optimise resources to meet operational and financial targets. Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams while fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture. Cultivate strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, monitor market trends, and provide strategic updates to the SES Board to ensure alignment and drive business opportunities. We are looking for a highly experienced and visionary leader with excellent business leadership experience, ideally with a background in divisional or general management. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, along with exceptional leadership and people management skills, capable of building and developing high-performing teams. They should possess strong financial acumen, with experience in managing budgets and financial reporting, as well as excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities. This individual must have outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and build relationships across all levels of the organisation. Proficiency in business management software and Microsoft Office Suite is essential, and an MBA is preferred. The ideal candidate will also be committed to promoting and upholding SES's culture and values, while motivating and supporting staff to ensure they feel engaged and valued.
