Engineering Shift Leader (B1/B2) AES (Aircraft Engineering Services Ltd) are inviting applications for our Engineering Shift Leader vacancy. The role will be based at London Stansted Airport (STN) on a 2D2N rotation working in cooperation with our client Ryanair, Europe's largest airline. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated individual who has been working previously as a senior B1 or B2 Line Maintenance Engineer, who is able to supervise personnel and demonstrate a flexible working attitude in a fast-changing environment. Duties – The successful candidate will report to the STN Station Manager and be responsible for: Leadership and Management of an Engineering Shift, consisting of 70 CRS, Mechanics and Trainees. Routine servicing and defect rectification of Ryanair’s 737-800, 737-8200, A320 and Learjet 45 Fleet. Aircraft on Ground (AOG) recovery across Ryanair's European Line Stations. Maintaining a safe and compliant working environment, adhering to all company procedures, policies and regulations. Supervision and mentoring of Engineers, Aircraft Mechanics and Trainees. Requirements Qualifications and Experience: Aircraft Line Maintenance experience (Essential). EASA or UK CAA Part-66 B1 or B2 License holder (Essential): Boeing 737-NG Type Endorsement & Recency (Essential). Boeing 737-Max Type Endorsement (Desirable). Airbus A320 Type Endorsement (Desirable) Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written (Essential). Good IT Literacy (Essential), with AMOS Experience (Desirable). All applicants must have unrestricted right to work and travel in the UK and hold a Full UK Driving License.
