2nd Line Support Specialist - Apple and Windows devices - Crawley - Contract - Inside IR35
As a 2nd Line Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure and providing top-tier support to our employees across our European offices. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, resolving, and managing a wide range of hardware and software issues, while also contributing to our asset management and security initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide 2nd line support to employees in all European offices, delivering exemplary customer service.
* Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve software and hardware requests efficiently.
* Actively manage support tickets through the ticketing system.
* Prepare PCs and iPhones for new hires.
* Execute the company’s hardware refresh program, ensuring meticulous asset management.
* Maintain updates on a subset of devices within the company environment.
* Utilize Defender365 to manage and mitigate software vulnerabilities, including Windows OS and Office updates and upgrades.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in an IT Support role.
* Proven ability to support a user base of approximately 1000 or more employees across multiple sites.
* Familiarity with tools such as SCCM/MECM, iVanti LANDesk, Windows Defender, and Redstor backup is a plus.
* Experience in supporting audio-visual equipment and media systems will be beneficial.
