We need a Project Manager for a prestigious project in South Wales.
Working in a Utilities environment, specifically in Water.
What will they be doing daily?
1. Client facing
2. Managing the project
3. Procurement
4. Dealing with issues in site management and site engineering
5. Risk Management
6. Project Planning - this person would do the plan and get the Planner to input it into the overall plan
Who will they be interacting with regularly?
The client, the Site Manager, the site team, the subcontractors, procurement, the quality team, and the site engineers.
Most Important Things:
1. Technical - understanding how long it takes to get pipes in the ground
2. Leadership - need to lead a team of people plus the subcontractors
3. Commercial - need to ensure they aren't over committing and the margin is maintained
4. Civil Engineering - Degree qualified is preferred but can accept HND or HNC with a few years of experience
5. Leadership of Site Engineers, Site Manager, Site Supervisors, Planner, Main Contractor, and Traffic management (external)
6. Quality Management - Quality Manager sets the KPIs, and Site Engineers manage them and report to the PM
7. Client facing
8. Budget Management: 4 million

You must be:
1. A project Manager with significant experience in civil engineering
2. Having a utilities bias
3. Local to the Vale of Glamorgan
4. Possessing a full UK driving license
