Churchill College is one of the thirty-one Colleges of the University of Cambridge. It was founded in 1960 as a national and Commonwealth memorial to Sir Winston Churchill. The College is situated just outside the city centre on a superb 50 acre site, comprising residential accommodation, central communal and office spaces, educational and sports facilities. The College is proud of its spacious campus and excellent facilities, and it is a priority to ensure that the estate is maintained to the highest standards of safety, service and sustainability. A large proportion of work on the estate is handled in-house by our skilled Maintenance team of electricians, plumbers, carpenters and general operatives.

You will have practical knowledge and skills in the installation, maintenance and repair of all water services including heating systems, boilers, pumps, valves and all types of pipe work and ancillary plant. You must be organised, have an eye for detail and be able to carry out tasks independently of other trades, and occasionally self-manage small refurbishment projects.
This is a full-time role, working on average 37.5 hours per week according to a 4 week rota.
Benefits include a generous pension scheme, healthcare cash-plan, five weeks of annual leave, free parking and lunch on site. The College supports flexible working.
