About us
Our purpose is simple, to save lives at sea. Since 1824, the RNLI has been working to save those who are in danger of drowning.
We’re looking for a Digital Studio Manager to lead our Digital Studio team for a period of 18 months. You will be joining the RNLI at a significant and exciting time. Digital has never been more important to the RNLI than now, and we are looking to grow our delivery exponentially over the next 12 – 18 months.
About the role
As the Digital Studio Manager, you will make a significant contribution to helping save lives at sea by:
1. Delivering a step change in income generation across the RNLI's core websites and all digital channels, working alongside the marketing, creative, and social teams.
2. Driving water safety and behaviour change messaging through the RNLI's core websites and services, and working with the water safety, marketing, creative, and social teams.
3. Leading the team to deliver next generation optimisation of the RNLI’s main website, RNLI.org, and other websites for key audiences such as EndDrowning.org, and managing the RNLI’s intranet platform.
4. Liaising with colleagues across the organisation, including Marketing, Community Lifesaving, and our International team, taking their briefs and translating them into digital experiences that meet users’ needs and deliver on business objectives.
5. Being accountable for the delivery of and managing the relationship of our key digital partners.
6. Ensuring that workflow in and out of the studio is brilliantly managed and first-class execution is achieved across all platforms.
About You
You’ll be a proactive manager with experience in leading a digital studio, who enjoys a challenge and would like to work for a world-leading lifesaving charity. To be considered as our Digital Studio Manager, you’ll need:
1. A degree in a relevant subject, or an equivalent level of client or agency experience.
2. Senior delivery experience; scoping large multi-channel projects and managing a BAU programme plan.
3. Strong attention to detail.
4. Experience of working within a large, complex organisation, communicating across all relevant levels.
5. A clear communicator, driven and highly collaborative.
6. Flexible, adaptable, and able to maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
If you have the right skills and leadership and want to make a significant difference to the RNLI, then we look forward to hearing from you.
