£12.64 - £15.94 per hour + 25% shift allowance
Hours: WEEK 1: Monday to Friday 6am-2pm / WEEK 2: Monday to Thursday 2pm-10.30pm / Friday 2pm-7.30pm

Role Summary:
Setting and operating CNC 3 axis milling machines to manufacture components from raw material or second op work. You will also be using various other CNC and manual machines to finish pre machined parts. for our internal assembly flow lines to the highest quality and on time.

Career progressionKey responsibilities within your new role would be to:
Set and operate CNC 3 axis milling machines to produce small to medium size batches of work.
Inspect work to engineering drawings using various measuring equipment.
Report any quality defects to the Machine Shop Supervisor.
Carry out daily, weekly and monthly maintenance checks on machines.
Maintain good housekeeping standards, 5S requirements and report any issues promptly.
Optimise efficiencies through reduced set-up and cycle times, plus tool life monitoring.
De-burr, clean, final inspection and completion of all traceability documentation.
Ensure products are to the highest quality before being sent to the assembly line.Experience and skills required for this position:
Knowledge of operating CNC machine tools.
Experience of setting and operating CNC mills, with a minimum of 3 axis.
Experience of reading and editing faunc programs.
Experience within a low batch component manufacturing industry.
The ability to read and understand technical drawings.
Be able to use a range of measuring equipment to ensure the accuracy against the drawing.
The ability to perform repetitive tasks over a long period of time.
Knowledge of operating twin spindle machines would be advantageous.
The ability to work to AS9100 aerospace quality standards would be advantageous. Next steps:
