Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 6 Interventions Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with our Year 6 students to provide targeted support and interventions, helping them to achieve their academic goals and prepare for their transition to secondary school.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan and deliver high-quality intervention sessions for Year 6 students.
2. Assess students' progress and adapt interventions to meet their individual needs.
3. Work collaboratively with class teachers and support staff to ensure a cohesive approach to student learning.
4. Monitor and report on student progress to parents and senior leadership.
5. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements:
1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
2. Experience working with primary-aged children, particularly in Year 6.
3. Strong understanding of the Year 6 curriculum and assessment requirements.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to inspire and motivate students.
