Front Office Receptionist/ Manager Requirements /Skills; Pleasing personality Professional telephone manner Excellent interpersonal communication skills, must be organized and be able to multi-task. Must be discreet. Efficiency in handling common software used in an office such as MS Excel, Outlook. Quickbooks. Good negotiating skills, management and analytical skills Should be able to understand requirements of patients and provide satisfactory help to the patients. Responsibilities: - Keep all patient files organized and to maintain the front office. File medical records and handle administrative duties, such as answering phones and scheduling appointments. Manage the database of Patients and the services provided to them, daily transactions of the business etc. Transcribing Audiology reports, checking documents before sending to Doctors and patients. Managing Invoices to patients, healthcare insurance companies and solicitors. Chase unpaid accounts on a monthly basis. Dispatch goods from the office to suppliers. Receive and process all the incoming post to the office. Organizing recall letters to patients on a monthly basis. Negotiate with suppliers that supply products such hearing aids and other healthcare /office equipment Handling all types of office equipment, such as fax machine, printers, computers, franking machine. This would suit an individual with a smart appearance, appropriate experience in front of office/ reception skills and or a more mature candidate. The general responsibilities involve, but are not exclusive to: - Opening/Closing the practice, preparing patient notes, organizing the diaries for the consultants, booking appointments, greeting clients, dealing with deliveries / dispatch of post, answering telephone and email responses, invoicing, database administration, sending reports, ordering stock and supplies and other general office duties. Keeping practice clean and presentable. This position is an office-based role at the Consulting Rooms in Wimpole Street, London. It will require you to be available between the office hours of 8.45 am until 5.15pm. Monday to Friday. Salary will start at £30,000.00 per annum, with review.
