We are seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Operations Manager to lead a small team of payroll professionals for 12 months.
Key Responsibilities
* Leading and mentoring the payroll team to ensure high performance and compliance with regulatory requirements
* Conducting thorough payroll checks prior to submission to ensure accuracy and timeliness
* Authorizing BACs payments to employees, HMRC, and third parties while maintaining confidentiality and discretion
* Developing and implementing effective pre-audit reports and processing necessary changes to optimize payroll processes
* Creating and distributing clear communication materials related to company policies and procedures
* Maintaining accurate records and reporting financial information in the General Ledger
The ideal candidate will have strong UK payroll experience, team management expertise, and advanced Excel skills. They should also possess exceptional attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and knowledge of payrolling benefits and P11Ds.
