About The Role
As the QA Inspector (Alternative Fuel) you will represent the quality department by maintaining standards, conducting good in inspections and in-process inspections, to ensure that all manufactured Alternative Fuel products meet both regulatory and customer requirements.
Your day-to-day duties will include but not be limited to:
* Inspecting parts or products for defects and deviations from specifications
* Discussing inspection results with those responsible and recommending necessary corrective action
* Carrying out final inspection on all Alternative Fuel systems and products and completing all quality documentation as required by customer requirements or within the site quality plan.
* Participating in site internal / external audits and ensuring all inspection reports are accurate
Based at our manufacturing site in Colwick, Nottingham, you’ll be employed on a permanent contract working 36 hours per week.
What will I need to be considered for this role?
* Proven experience gained in a quality assurance role, ideally within the automotive industry
* Ability to read and understand drawings, specifications and quality requirements
* Competent in the use of inspection and measurement equipment
* Desire to support the business achieve manufacturing excellence for our customers
* Good Microsoft office skills and general computer literacy
* A self-motivated individual with ability to work on own initiative
