Our Legal apprenticeship scheme is a 30-month programme, to support gaining a professional legal qualification (SQE). Alongside this, you will gain relevant work experience and essential skills & behaviours training. There will be plenty of support along the way in the shape of your development from your peer group, line manager and mentor. You will develop skills in areas such as: Drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts Providing pragmatic, commercially focused legal advice Taking instructions and communicating with a variety of stakeholders Supporting senior managers and team members with high profile work Collaborating with and supporting internal legal team Legal research and analytical skills Time management skills and prioritisation Critical thinking and problem solving What we need? About the Apprenticeship course The Graduate Solicitor Apprenticeship is a 30-month apprenticeship designed for those with a recent English law degree. Training ensures a good understanding of foundational legal principles to prepare for the SQE examinations, with a day release to dedicate to apprenticeship studies. The course provider will supply supported study materials aligned to the SQE specification to enable Graduate Solicitor Apprentices to revise and refresh their knowledge of these underlying areas of law.
