Project Manager - Permanent - Main Contractor - Birmingham - Severn Trent Water Projects - Hybrid Working Your new company Our client, a high-profile main contractor based in the Birmingham area, is seeking a Project Manager to join their business. This established and multi-accredited organisation has a strong pipeline of work with Severn Trent and specialises in the delivery of both infrastructure and non-infrastructure works. They offer excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development, and due to continued success, they are looking to onboard a Project Manager to join their team. This is a permanent position based out of their Birmingham office with site travel as and when required. You will also have the option for hybrid working and the flexibility to manage projects closest to home. Your new role As Project Manager, your responsibilities will include: Overseeing all aspects of project delivery from inception through to completion and handover Creating and maintaining project programmes as well as producing forecasts and procurement schedules Monitoring and reviewing financial and delivery performance Coordinating with subcontractors are clients regarding health and safety inspections and audits Liaising with delivery teams and coordinating site activities to ensure project programmes are maintained Ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget and to specified quality. What you'll need to succeed In order to be successful, you must have: Experience managing infrastructure and/or non-infrastructure projects from inception through to completion in the water industry Understanding of NEC contracts, CDM regulations and health and safety Sound leadership and interpersonal skills Full UK driving licence.
