Contract Manager Benefits: Company Car or car allowance of £7,000 per annum Bonus of up to 15% of salary Life Insurance (2 x Salary) Enhanced Pension Scheme 25 days holiday rising to 30 days with service (plus Bank Holidays), Summary of the Role Working as part of the wider Oxalis Gas and Petroleum Senior Team, reporting to the Divisional Director Field Operations, this role will have full responsibility to ensure that all Safety, People, Service and Financial metrics are achieved across Oxalis' contracts. As Contract Manager you will be responsible for; Ensuring that the yearly safety (SHEQ) plan is achieved through setting a targeted, achievable plan that will improve safety and operational compliance across Oxalis' business. This will subsequently be delivered through effective management and governance of the wider operational team. Leading a regional operational team through the organisational hierarchy and be ultimately responsible for the development and coaching of the people in their wider team. Building constructive relationships with Trade Unions that results in industrial relations issues being resolved effectively and pay deals being concluded appropriately. Attaining and exceeding the yearly P&L budget through full recovery of all applicable commercial costs, accurate invoicing/ revenue validation and identification of operational efficiency opportunities. Developing and growing relationships with Oxalis' existing valued customers, and identifying new business opportunities end to end, from tender proposals to closure of new contract wins. Liaising with and influencing internal central resource, planning and control functions in order to deliver service excellence. Qualifications / Experience Required / Key Skills The successful individual will: Hold a full UK driving license and be willing to travel UK and ROI wide. Have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Have excellent people management skills and experience of working with Trade Unions. Have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Be proficient in IT, particularly Microsoft Office - Outlook and Excel Have a good levels of intuition and agile problem solving skills for productive outcomes, that deliver for our customers. Have senior level experience working in the transport industry in ideally both commercial and operational roles. Significant P&L experience leading multiple contracts within the logistics industry. Desirable: Be educated to degree standard (or equivalent). Be CPC qualified, or hold other transport industry qualifications ADZN1_UKTJ
