About the Health & Safety Auditor job
Reporting to the Quality Compliance Manager, you’ll be ensuring that audits are carried out to the relevant standard in accordance with the company’s Group Health & Safety Policy.
Key tasks:
1. Arranging site audits and implementing audit schedules based on risk exposure.
2. Carrying out audits and evaluating H&S compliance against Group Policy and legislation.
3. Generating and issuing audit reports.
4. Ensuring all standard documentation is in accordance with requirements for H&S in respect of legislation, policy and internal standards.
About You
1. Qualified in IOSH and NEBOSH.
2. Possess a good understanding of Occupational Health & Safety in the food manufacturing industry.
3. Lead Auditor ISO 45001 is desirable but not essential; however, previous experience of auditing against ISO 45001 would be ideal.
4. Must hold a valid UK passport and a clean, full UK driving license for UK and European travel.
The Health & Safety Auditor job is based in South Yorkshire and is paying £35,000 per annum according to your experience.
The package includes 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, a generous pension scheme, private healthcare, death in service, Employee Assistance Program and CSP after a qualifying period.
The working hours are Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, 8.00am - 4.30pm.
