Responsibilities Deliver high-quality music education to students across different year groups, catering to their individual needs and abilities. Plan and implement engaging and interactive lessons that adhere to the national curriculum and school policies. Assess and evaluate student progress through various methods such as regular assessments and formative feedback. Create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that promotes creativity and encourages student participation. Organize and lead extracurricular music activities, such as choir, orchestra, and school productions. Collaborate with colleagues and actively contribute to the school's music department, including attending regular departmental meetings and sharing best practices. Establish effective communication channels with parents and provide regular updates on students' progress and achievements. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Music or a related field. PGCE in Music Education is highly desirable. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification. Proven experience teaching music to primary or secondary school students. Strong knowledge of the national curriculum for music and ability to deliver creative and engaging lessons. Demonstrated ability to motivate and inspire students to excel in music. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with colleagues, students, and parents.
