Role: Assistant Design Manager
Location: Leeds
Salary: £35,000/£45,000 + Package
Our client a leading construction company based in Leeds are seeking an Assistant Design Manager to join them on a permanent.
They are looking for a highly organized and creative Assistant Design Manager to join their current Design/Technical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating design projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will work closely with designers, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure that all design requirements are met and that the final product aligns with the client's vision.
Your role will involve overseeing the entire design process, from initial concept development to final delivery, and you will be expected to provide guidance and support to the design team throughout the project lifecycle. You will also be responsible for managing project timelines, budgets, and resources, as well as ensuring that all design work adheres to company standards and industry best practices.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a keen eye for detail, and a strong understanding of design principles and processes. You should be able to work effectively under pressure, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines. Responsibilities
* Coordinate and manage design projects from concept to completion.
* Work closely with designers, clients, and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
* Oversee the entire design process, including concept development, design execution, and final delivery.
* Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources.
* Ensure all design work adheres to company standards and industry best practices.
* Provide guidance and support to the design team throughout the project lifecycle.
* Conduct regular project meetings to review progress and address any issues.
* Prepare and present project updates and reports to clients and stakeholders.

* Identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges in the design process.
* Maintain accurate project documentation and records.
* Ensure client satisfaction by delivering high-quality design work on time and within budget.
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
* Continuously seek opportunities to improve design processes and workflows.
* Manage and resolve any conflicts or issues that arise during the project.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Design, Project Management, or a related field.
* Proven experience in coordinating design projects.
* Strong understanding of design principles and processes.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
* Proficiency in design software and tools.
