Role Overview:
The Quality Manager will play a key role in overseeing and ensuring the quality of all products manufactured by our client, from the initial design and production stages through to delivery and installation. This individual will be responsible for managing quality control systems, maintaining compliance with industry standards, and implementing continuous improvement strategies to ensure the delivery of reliable, high-performance solutions for critical power generation and distribution.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead quality assurance and control activities across the entire manufacturing process, from design through to delivery.
Conduct regular inspections, audits, and product testing to ensure compliance with both internal and external quality standards.
Collaborate closely with design, production, and engineering teams to define quality requirements and ensure they are met at all stages.
Prepare and manage quality documentation, including inspection reports, certifications, and compliance audits.
Analyse quality data, identify trends, and implement corrective and preventive actions to improve product quality and manufacturing processes.
Lead the investigation and resolution of quality issues and customer complaints, ensuring effective root cause analysis and follow-up actions.
Ensure that all quality-related certifications and regulatory requirements are maintained.
Train and mentor employees on quality standards, policies, and continuous improvement practices.
Work with suppliers and vendors to ensure the quality of external components and materials.Key Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience (5+ years) in a Quality Management role within manufacturing, preferably in the power generation, infrastructure, or prefabricated construction sectors.
Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS), ISO 9001, and other relevant standards.
Experience in managing quality control processes, audits, inspections, and documentation.
Familiarity with critical infrastructure requirements and quality standards for power generation and distribution.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a strong attention to detail.
Leadership and team management experience, with the ability to drive change and continuous improvement.
